Site description	Slightly sloping and lime-rich fen. Physiography: micaschist bedrock. Surrounding vegetation: lime-rich fens and ridges, birch forests.
Notes	The valley in which the site is located is today an artificial lake (size 6.5 km2, water depth 35m). This site ceased to exist after 1983. The Frengstadsetra pollen diagram shows a continuous and uninterrupted sequence from the Preboreal deglaciation, about 9,500 BP up to the present day.
