Site description	Large lake lies in Devonian depression. Physiography: glacial, lake-glacial and lake deposits. Surrounding vegetation: pine-birch forest.
Notes	A 6.56 m core provides a record back to ca 11,500 yr B.P. The chronology is based on pollen correlation with the Shuvalovo peat section, 200 km north-west of the lake (Khotinskii, 1977).
